I just upgraded from vbar non link to V-link and was wondering how others mounted their vbar on the N7? Got any pictures?

I mount mine on the Gyro plate in front with the servo ports facing forward. I hot glue small antenna tubes to the frame in a safe spot and run the wires through(not shown here)

That is how i have mine mounted now. I was just worried about the antenna getting to close to the start shaft. Also what mounting pad are you using? I am using the mounting pad that came with the vbar neo. But When I test the rescue feature the other day at the flying field. The heli rolled right and dove forward. Scared the heck out of me. Was glad I had started at 3 mistakes high. A friend of mine said he had to use the futaba foam mounting pad on his nitro to get rescue to work correctly.

I use the standard pad, with rescue. But everyone's mileage will vary with a nitro depending on how much vibration your setup makes. Balanced assemblies, motor tune, ect...

Dan, I balance my fan, clutch and bell housing. The only other assemblies I can think of are tail rotor and main rotor. Is there any I am missing?

Nope. But often times the fan and clutch get missed. It is not always a critical step, but if there is gyro issues a good place to look. Sounds like you have it under control. You went though the level calibration in the VControl for the bailout?

I wasn't using vbar control when I first tried the rescue. I was using a futaba radio 14 sg and the neo non vlink. So maybe using the vbar control will be a different scenario. I just got the vbar control during the black friday deal off of Mikado usa website. I can't wait to try it. I have always used a Futaba radio. I think the vbar control radio is so cool. Right now here in Colorado its a little on the cool side as well. Might have to warm up some before I give it a try.
