Very Cute GMP Cricket JetRanger
Does anyone have any information on this GMP Cricket JetRanger Fuse? The guys said he possibly purchased the fuse in 1985...Does anyone know the manufacture?

Very nice fuselage for a Cricket , not much known about different models of cricket or fuselages that came out for them , only know of the Hughes 300 scale cricket , I have a cricket with a blue anodized frame, head and tail boom , was told by the guy I purchased it off the blue cricket came direct from the factory but nobody knows anything about a blue anodized version of the cricket ever been manufactured

As far as I’ve ever known, the only color offered by GMP, other than the stock silver one, was the black and gold custom version.
You could have the other skid anodized to match the rest of the parts you have. I’m finishing up an Hirobo Schweizer 300 and I had all of the small silver aluminum parts anodized black to match the frame and landing gear. It cost me about 75 bucks, but it was worth it.

I worked in a hobby shop from ’79 through the demise of GMP, into ’06. Throughout the GMP years, they were the primary helicopter manufacturer that we sold. I never seen that fuselage offered by them. I have seen that fuselage offered new on eBay twice before though.

It's too bad they didn't think to have a mold made before building it. It would have worked on my machinery very well. Just a thought.

so someone back in the day had a vacuum forming machine and must have made a small run of these that were not distributed through the normal channels. Sorta like a paleo DarthDrk.
