Hi RR,

I've been away from helis for a long time. If my memory serves me correctly there is a way to store the settings on my CGY750 onto a CIU-2; then, I can save the configuration on my PC before I send it into Futaba to have the screen replaced. Can anyone provide a link showing me how to save my CGY750 settings onto a CIU-2? Any input is appreciated.

Regards
Chuck

I have a CUI-2 and I've used it to program a few 750s but I don't remember it having the ability to record your setup. That doesn't mean it can't. It just means I haven't done it. I'll be listening along to see what others say.

Yes, you can use the CIU-2 to backup you CGY750 settings. Here are the instructions for using the CIU-2 driver and Data Link Tool software:

http://manuals.hobbico.com/fut/ciu-2-manual.pdf

and

See the "GY701 / CGY750 Link Data Tool Ver. 2.0" on this page:

Thanks for the response. I just couldn't remember where to look for instructions.

Thanks for sharing the link. I know there will be a time in the future that I'll need this information and as I've already proven, it's unlikely I'll remember it.
