Attaching magnets to fiberglass
I am contemplating my Scale build and would like advice from the Pros on which is the best adhesive to use to attach magnets
to the fiberglass fuselage halves?

My first choice would be Loctite Hysol 9462, then JB Weld (24hr cure) for something I really want stuck. But you can also use slow cure hobby epoxy.

I sand the side of the magnets to be bonded with coarse sandpaper (40 grit or similar). Dont just scratch it, really sand on it so there is no shiny left. I have had good luck with the slow cure JB Weld. Haven't used the Hysol, but I would like to try it.

I use E6000 works great you will have to tape the magnet in place until the E6000 cures about 8 hours.
available at michaels and hobby lobby craft stores
also fantastic for wood to fiberglass
similar to shoe goop but a lot stronger
