chas1025 Why are some of you so afraid of women in leadership positions?
it's NOT that she is a women, it's that she happens to be Hillary, and that she has worked all her life to be president because she wants that power

so how does that make her any different from any other politician who has run for president, or any other office? don't they all want to be in positions of power? is trump not doing what some of you were so critical of Obama for - trying to rule through executive order? So it's really not the EOs that bothered you, it was the policies they created. Now we have Trump directly challenging the explicit language of the Constitution through EO. No one seriously believes that it is going to be sustained - that's a raw example of unrestrained power.

I believe the GOP doesn't have anything against women. I also believe the GOP doesn't have anything against minorities.

The issue the GOP has with other candidates is that they are not GOP. Same goes for the democrats.

The political polarization is real. Here's a snapshot of 2014.

I think there is another layer brewing where 99% is not good enough (to quote Trey Gowdy)

John McCain, for example, went from favored GOP candidate to traitor in 2 presidential cycles. One 'wrong' vote and criticize Trump, and you'll end on the wrong side of the fence.

Having said that, I have an issue with democrats that supported Hillary only because she was a woman. Sorry, but that doesn't give her any extra points in my book. Man, Woman, Gay, Straight, etc. It doesn't matter they must be treated equally in the battle of ideas.

Ideas are like butt-holes, everyone got one. What I care about is accomplishment, record and experience.

And she had all three that gave her vast self enrichment through theft, deception and fear.
showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...

Good point. Good ideas on their own are not fruitful if they don't move to execution. My concern is that even if it was a good idea, and there was execution if we don't move away from political tribalism, such accomplishments will not be recognized in the general sense.

Once again, same actions perceived completely different depending on the party association. Too many examples to point out.
