XL Power has a 520, 550 and a 700 size model. They have been going a while now but only remember seeing them in the UK 18 months to 2 years now.

What happened to this thread? I really thought it was a good one. So good it might become a sticky. It could become a compendium of available brands. Maybe something of a catalog of potential next builds.

I agree ☝️

People can copy/paste and add to the list.

We can then varify or discuss brands if we believe there are inaccuracies.

They still have their German warehouse which is where I get all my spares from. They even made a fresh batch of Fury 90 torque tubes for me! Love the older MA stuff! Bloody bullet proof! Have you seen the manuals??! Every little detail is written in perfect English, takes some reading but very detailed!

Hey, Don`t forget kavan. American RC Helicopters handles them. I'm working on two Kavan Jet Rangers.
You can still get parts for them. Nice to be able to fly them again.

I don’t get it, I thought M.A was bought by a German and the company now operates from Germany. Germany is in the EU. Did you mean they are now based in the EU.

Blitz helicopters is still in business.

I'm starting to believe there are still quite a few helicopter suppliers out there but we just don't seem them in "stores" like we used to. While kit distribution seems to have changed, many of the kits are still available. You just have to look harder to find them.

Some manufacturers are selling directly to customers and cutting the shops off.

Storefront shops have been closing their doors left and right mostly because folks like us began to order "online" in order to save a few bucks vs supporting the shops.

Been there, done that and old enough to know better.....

When I said "stores" in post 35, I was including online stores. It seems that in times of stress, such as these, there is little room for a middleman. The first to go were brick and mortar shops but re-sellers in general seem to be increasingly squeezed out.

The good news is that a fair number of brands are still here even if you can't buy them through a "store".
