Good Day.

I have a JR 11x Zero with the DMS2 module in, so I did the software update to accommodate the DMSS protocol.

So, now on the modulation menu I have DMSS - DMS - SPCM - PPM9 - PPM8 , I installed a new DMSS module with the male to male adapter pin for telemetry , I switch on the radio and go the modulation menu and set it to DMSS from there I go to the bind menu. I can not get my DMSS receivers to bind, I have 4 receivers no luck.
I try to bind from the bind menu and also from , holding down the bind button at the module then switch on the radio to bind , no luck.

The blue light on the module is blinking very fast, not solid blue.

Have anyone done this before? am I doing something wrong or is the module faulty?

Regards

On my tx, when I turn the radio on with the module installed, I have to OK the RF before a signal will be sent... so my procedure is this:
Turn on the tx and power up the rx...then while holding the button on the module hit the button on the front of the tx that says RF OK...that should bind the two..
I hope this might help you with your set up..

Thank You Doorman.
It sounds like you have the old firmware, or you use your module in PPM modulation.
I have the new firmware with that I don't have the on off option at the start up screen in DMSS modulation and with that I also have a binding option in the menu.
The blue light at the back of your module is it solid blue?

After testing the module in another JR PCMX radio I still have the same problem.
so it is confirmed that the module is faulty. now comes the next problem to get the hobby shop to exchange it for a other new (working) one.
Thank you for all the advice.
