Vbar Neo nitro setup help needed
Hi guys,

I do fly eclectic as most people now but I do like Nitro as well. So I am setting up my Trex700N DFC with a VBAR NEO FBL ona Futaba 16SZ radio via S-BUS. I have little experience with my Vbar Silverline but now I am getting anywhere.

First can someone guide me where to plug in the Throttle servo. ?
I tried plug it in ESC and AUX2 ports but no luck.
Also, I like to ask what settings i should do in the radio before setting up anything.
I am going to use Spektrum back plate sensor using Vbar internal governor.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Arshad

ESC port . You need nitro gov app download . Go to gov expert to col add and change to - 50 and see if servo works .I stole it ,flew it and gave it back ;)

I think you need to get the pro upgrade for the nitro governor. Have you purchased that upgrade or the Pro + Rescue upgrade?
You need nitro gov app download
Apps are a function of the VBar Control transmitter. Apps are not needed for Futaba.

Have you got the VStabi NEO software loaded on your PC? Can you connect NEO and see what is available in setup?

In VStabi NEO software configure NEO for S-Bus.

Default new model settings in your TX. In VStabi NEO software do the tx setup and reverse channels as needed - you would of done this before I imagine when you setup the silverline.

Follow along with the setup...

Hi,
Many thanks for your input.
Yes, I have upgraded Neo to pro + Rescue. Vbar software is loaded and connected. On the second screen where we select or assign channels via S-Bus, I cannot get my throttle to work. If I insert in ESC port, the throttle servo moves but not lanier way. It jumps.

Until you have completed the tx calibration screen plugging in servos is pointless.

At the tx calibration screen you have not setup yet to use the nitro governor.

At the tx calibration screen it is the same for NEO as it is for silverline to get the throttle channel from your tx to show up and moving in the correct direction.

In your tx servo monitor screen can you see the throttle channel output?

I mentioned Coll.add setting because that was my issue on servo not responding .Pos 1 is +50 ,hold +30 , 2 -28, 3 -29 . I was wrong on my setting, it was at - 50 and did not respond and I had to put at + 50 to work correctly . Also I had issue with sensor too close to back plate and Neo not getting correct reading . Sensor was picking up rod pin and crank . I put washer under sensor mounts for spacing and problem solved .I stole it ,flew it and gave it back ;)
