Temp Gauges
Guys what are you using for engine temps on your heli's? I am still learning about electric helis but it seems the motor on mine is hot after flying it. Below is my setup.
-Alzrc Fast Devil 380
-Alzrc RCM-BL3120 1000KV Motor
-Hobbywing 100amp ESC
-Alzrc 452 Swashplate Servo
-Alzrc 501 Tail Servo
-tatu 1800mah 6s batteries
After a good 4 minutes sport flight, no idle up or hard flying, the motor is hot to the touch. It is almost to the point of burning your fingers. I am trying to get a temp gun to monitor it so I cant give a specific temp. Any information would be great.

I still have an old Losi flat blade screwdriver with a temp laser in the handle from my rc car heydays. I never used the little rubber thing on the end. I still use the screwdriver quite a bit as well

If it's too hot consider using a smaller pinion.
