Does anyone know if Quick UK is still trading as the company's website is down and their Ebay shop is not active.

I wish QuickUK would bring back the Needle Valve Adjusters. I can hardly tune anymore without them. I posted the below video a few years ago and got more questions about the adjusters than anything else.

Anyone know where to buy these?

Hey Bill. I thought that I saw a user in the classifieds here on RR that was selling them. I want to say he makes them. Was a good deal, too if you bought a pair. I'll have to go dig through and try to find them myself. I could use some too!

If you find a source, please let me know. The QuickUK site says adjusters are In Stock(!) until you select a color. Then it says No Stock (Frowny Face). It has said that for the last 10 years. I wish they'd knock out a batch of 'em. I don't think I'm the only one looking for these and nitro is coming back fast (says I).

I believe the QuickUK upgrade parts were some of the highest quality ever available, particularly their swashplates and blade grips.

Specific aircraft upgrades would no doubt be money loosing these days but there is always a market for universal parts.

Email Budd at Quick UK.
Message sent. I'll let you know what I hear.
Hello Good People of QuickUK,

Bill here.

For several years now I've stopped by your site in hopes of finding Needle Valve Adjusters back in stock. I've gotten to where I really rely on them and others that have seen them invariably ask where I got them.

Is there any chance they will become available any time soon? A recent thread on one of the forums has reminded me that I really need a few more sets of these. https://rc.runryder.com/t827345p1/

Thank you in advance,

Bill

They used to do a lot of manufacturing and some lovely upgrades, especially in the days of the Raptor and Hirobo and M/A machines, but when Align came onto the scene with upgrades at much lower prices Quick Uk seemed to fade into the background, I know they moved premises, as far as I know now they sold off their machinery and don't do any machining, they did become the UK distributor for Roban models a couple of years ago, but even that seems to have slowed down and their site is either out of stock or very low stocks.

I found Budd a very helpful person who offered great customer service, on my Roban when the first kits came out there was some teething problems, almost every other week I would get something through the post with a note saying Roban have released this upgrade please find yours.. which I thought was really great service.

Nice "bling" but if the end goal is to have the ability to adjust with a ball end allen wrench, a socket screw inserted into needle accomplishes exactly the same thing and by adding a finishing washer you get your "bling". And to boot, both items you most likely have already.

Nope. Bling was the goal!

Actually I've gotten used to the little tab. Of course they aren't required but I have gotten used to seeing the needles from a distance and very clearly seeing my adjustments.

Bling on helicopters was part of the hobby. Everyone’s helicopter was different to the next. The different colours and parts made things a little more interesting. It wasn’t really about performance, just individualism.

Thats one thing I still love about my Hirobo’s.

I have used QuickUK a lot in the past for their in-house upgrades but nothing else. For me they were a company who produced top shelf upgrades. I would have no reason to use them as a general helicopter store as I have more convenient options elsewhere.

Going back to post #11 and emailing QuickUK, I received a response from Bud. While it was a private email, I don't think he would mind me sharing. I'm really impressed at how quickly I received a response and that he would make the effort to fill the needs of a single individual.
Hello Bill

Thank you for your enquiry.

I stopped making those parts some time ago as demand for them reduced signigicantly.

I will take a look through my old stock and see if I can find any for you. Give me a couple of days and I will come back to you.

Kind regards

Budd
