600 or 700 size 4-Blade Rotor Head?
I'm building a Marvelcraft Agusta A109 with Hirobo Freya mechanics installed. Would I need a 600 or 700 size 4-Blade head for it? The Freya has a 10mm main shaft.
The lot I got is not a lot, but I thank God a lot for the lot I got!

Hi Mike,
I wanted to make sure before I commented that I feel the 700 size rotorhead would look too big on that heli, so I asked the Copterdoctor and he stated he would use a 600 size rotorhead on that fuse.
Make sure you post some pics of your build.
We scale fanatics love us some pictures!

Agreed but it also depends on which brand head you are loking at getting. I dealt with the century rotor heads on my machines and their plastic blade grips on their 60-90 size heads looked oversized for some of the 700 fuselages.so i went with the 30-50 size. Main hub is the same for both sizes. This may not be the case with other brands. Their 60-90 heads with the metal blade grips looked better as they didnt have the oversized bulky look.drive a rotary, fly a rotorcraft

I've looked around quite a bit but there aren't that many 4 blade heads to choose from.
I kinda like this one though: http://www.heli-scale.fr/index.php?...oduct&id_lang=1

This one features more scale detail: https://www.double-cats.com/index.p...t&product_id=59
I see they've improved the control arms too. The earlier ones weren't as solid looking. Probably better phasing, tracking etc.
The website provides you with drawings and dimensions of both the 600 and 700 versions of this head. The difference in the diameter of these two heads is 28mm.
