I am having a problem removing a YS 91 ST from the frame of my Vibe 90. Do I have to remove the motor mount to get it out of the frame? Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like if you remove the bolts that go through the frames into the motor mount , the whole thing should drop out the bottom.......motor mount and all....

Been there, done that and old enough to know better.....

It looks like you have all of the engine mount bolts removed, E.G., the engine isn't fastened to anything.

What do you see/feel? It should just drop right down out of the frame and the fan/clutch out of the clutch bell. I'll have to download the manual for that airframe to confirm, but you may be seeing a "sprang" clutch that's holding things up, perhaps?

Good looking model, by the way. Very clean.

There is a pump attached to the back of the motor which is not allowing it to drop out the bottom. Looks as though I'm going to have to remove the entire bottom plate to drop engine. Thoughts? I built this several years ago and I've forgotten how I fit the motor into the frame. Lol. Buddy of mine teaching me to fly developed Parkinson's Disease and could not fly anymore. In the process of parting out my Vibe 90. Helicopter has never been flown and is in new condition. I also have an extra airframe for extra parts. If anyone is interested I am taking offers. Would like to see someone finish it and fly like it was suppose to be flown.
