I need a new ring for my YS 96SR-X
The part number in the manual is S9107

But, that part number leads to a piston ring package that is labeled for a YS 91SR, 91SRS and 91SRX.

I think it will work.
The manual's for both the 91SR-X and 96SR-X show a bore of 27mm
The stroke is different.

Anyone know for sure?

I started at the YS Engines website, before I posted the question here.

But, they have no online Manual for the 96SR-X.
http://www.ysengines.us/manuals/manuals_us/default

I found one on http://www.yspower.co.jp/en/data/pdf/96srx.pdf
Unfortunately, the part numbers are for the non-US version of the 96SR-X.

https://www.rcjapan.net/index.php?m...roducts_id=1780

I think it is safe to say the parts ordered from Japan using those part number would work fine on the US version of the 96SR-X

But, the US version of the 96SR-X uses the US part number YS5850 and that ring works with the YS 91SR, 91SR-X and the 96SR-X
They all use the same ring.

I called YS and confirmed this.

That’s why I posted the link with the phone number.......to get the answer from the horse’s mouth rather than relying on a bunch of opinionated guesses....
