Have you ever updated your model and it flies even better than you imagined.
I recently updated my 500 dfc pro from the old style efl to the new 500X head.
If this kit were released today I would buy one

I had a t-rex 600n flybarred that used to pitch up horribly in forward flight.

When converted to FBL it flew straight and level hands off.

Have you ever considered updating your camera? (Sorry mate I couldn't resist.)

I've been flying a 700XN a lot lately and it's just a joy. Technically I didn't upgrade the model. It's stock. I've just been fascinated by how good modern model helicopters fly. I built the kit after flying a X-Cells and a TSA and was stuck at how well the head meshed with my controller and how quickly I felt at ease with the new model.

No, it's not and update in the tradition sense. No single part or sub-assembly was exchanged. Of all the components that make up a model, (motor, FBL unit, blades, servos, etc) I "updated" the airframe.

"Well, nothing bad can happen now."

I have like 8 flybarred 700 sized birds sitting in Daytona. I need to go get them and convert the heads and throw on some modern FBL units. I’ve been flying a 770 Goblin with a VControl and a Trex 700 Pro with ikon 2 and a DX18 and they’re just unreal to fly compared to just ten years ago when they had just become unreal to fly lol.

Srimok, Goblin 770, Avant Aurora, Trex 700 Suzi Hans, 700 LE, 700 FBL, Trex 450 Dominator X2, HC500, and a crap ton of parts with no time to fly! :)

Mine was always FBL the only thing I changed was the head. It got lowered about a 1/2" and Without adjusting the controller it is more agile.
