Hi,

I have been looking at various Futaba PDF manuals on hobbico.com over the last few days but today, no response. I have left it all day thinking at first I had just encountered a temporary problem but still no joy.

I’m aware that they filed for bankruptcy protection earlier this year.

Does anyone know if this is it, the plug was pulled on the servers today. Or is it likely to be fixed soon.

If it has gone, anyone know wherelse I can find old manuals.

Looking for the receiver R6203SB.

Cheers,

Nigel

They are all (or most) on the new Futaba website.

Unless I’m missing something obvious I can’t see many at all there. Seems to be just transmitters and then only the recent ones.

Cheers,

Nigel

The hobbico ftp site still not responding so not looking good.

There doesn’t seem to be a main Futaba RC site at all.

The USA site has the manuals for their current transmitters.

The UK distributer (Ripmax) has more manuals but not all.

The hobbico ftp site which seemed to be the main repository looks like it may have been taken down.

Hopefully the futabausa site is being built up as replacement and is still under construction. I hope that the case because at the moment it looks rough and unfinished, looking like it was done by a student as a junior high school project - one that didn’t get a very good mark. If you want an example of how not to present information on a website take a look at the software downloads section

https://futabausa.com/product-infor...ware-downloads/

that is very poor.

Cheers,

Nigel
