Any good electrocutions out there that could direct me into the wright path i am looking for a motor that would turn very slow rpm i have a synergy 516 that i have had for sale for awhile with no bites so i was think about making a ceiling fan out of it and taking the belt off of the tail and hanging it in my man cave but need a motor with a 5mm shaft with low rpm.

What about a ceiling fan motor or a small AC motor off to the side running the tail belt off a pulley. You could use a small drive pulley to keep the rpm down. The belt could go out the side of the frame to the motor mounted far enough away to tighten the belt.

Contact a company called EPO (Electronic Parts Outlet) located in Houston and talk with them. They have obscure parts & motors like what you are looking for

Use Mr. Mel's headspeed calc to back your way into the right kv. Use a cheap esc with a servo tester to dial rpm and some kind of ac adapter to power the thing. Won't take much current with the gearing and no real load.
