I am a new born newbie, meaning I used to fly helecopters but been out of helicopters and spent several years with multirotors, both home built and bought.
I would like a good helicopter simulator that would work with my Spectrum X9303, or one that comes with a controller.
I would like some suggestions on helicopter sims that current fliers have experience with and can recommend.
Realism and flight characteristics are the main considerations. I used to have RealFlight(?) but don't know if that is still a good one.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

RF works good wirelessly with Spektrum. Get the eight channel Lemon DSMX PPM receiver and solder a servo connector to the trainer port of the Interlink Elite controller. I used a RFX dongle and removed the wired transmitter connection from the circuit board and soldered in a servo connector in it's place for a more compact unit.

That's what I have, so I am familiar with all the xmit setups. It also has a jack that supposedly allows a connection for sims.
