Grounding on electric conversion
Hey folks, I have a question for anyone who has converted their nitro machine to electric.
I am looking for grounding examples for a larger heli (freya) if possible.
I have done it before on Logo 550 but am more interested in the static potential of a mostly plastic Freya or SDX etc.

Grounding
I have converted both an SDX and a Hirobo Cobra to electric operation.. I do run 2.4 equipment on both... neither has any problems with static discharge..
I have done nothing in the way of a special ground..

So sorry for the late reply, but thanks Stan!
I have been flying my Freya as an electric for 2 years now and no problems with static!

Like thunder tiger raptor in a perfect combination plastic+metal boom+belt driven or torque tube, you will not have problems with hirobo kits.

For some technical reason widely known, bad combination of CF+metal or CF boom +belt driven or torque tube, most of the time cause problems and need to be properly grounded.
