New Pump
Just got a new jet fuel transfer BRICO pump unit that runs on 11.1 volts after the SE V1 started to leak into the electric motor and locked up, after looking at it did try to get parts for it, but no good, to old!

Thank you Matt, it was a bit pricey but it works well. Have you got the Australian Perth RC made gas turbine helicopter by Brian Simpson. I went over to Perth year ago and did go out the back of his shop and he did show me two of his models, the Jetranger had not been run for some time and I said to him, how much would you sell it to me for, he answered, it,s not for sale. I did try and my wife had a funny look on her face like she just wanted to kill me!

Hi,
Yes I still have my zealous by RC Rotortec, it has proved reliable and a good all round machine to fly.
Unfortunatly my lovely jetranger I lost in a lypo fire 2 yrs ago, which is a shame as I won a few comps with it and it was a pleasure to fly.
I tried buying Brians machine but he was hanging on to it.

DG, He told me he had most parts for the model,s but needed some one to invest a bit of dough into getting more gear box,s and other mechanical parts made and he had parts to make up about ten models. Now that was 12 months ago when I was in Perth on a wet Sunday afternoon, sound like a song! any way he had a very large shop with a lot of stock on hand $$$$$$$ could be a good idea to shoot him an email. all the best to you in the U.K from DOWN UNDER.

ZEALOUS
Yes Matt, I did look at your photo,s of your hobby hanger, and looking at them was taken back a bit to the point of crying as I looked at what had happened and what was destroyed. So every time I charge any battery, I think of your hanger, mad I know! That was the model Jet Ranger I looked at in his store room on that Sunday we went into his shop in Perth, and the answer was NO.But Brian you are not flying it so what would it take to sell it! #$&*. So Matt that,s why I am waiting for Kevin in Singapore to let me know what Mr Chan is doing Re/ turbine scale models with the turbo prop engine that Kevin is working on. Anyway you could email him and make an offer for that Jet Ranger that is sitting out the back of his shop and I could pick it up for you after driving for three day,s from Victoria to Perth to get there and test fly before it is sent to the UK. What do you think? you only pay for my petrol? ME&Perth

The BRICO pump looks nice. Odd that it doesn't seem to have migrated out of Australia. I did quick Google of "BRICO pump" and it brings up only one seller. https://www.dlenginesaustralia.com/...l-pump-12v.html

I wish they were easier to buy.
