Cap screw pitch
I need to tap some screw holes in my new project. I can’t remember the pitch for a m3 screw? I thought it was .70.

I just checked one from my box of left over 3mm cap-head screws.
They are mostly from Align.
They are .5 pitch according to my metric screw checker.
There is no hole for a .7 pitch 3mm screw.
