GOV magnet detection
I have just started using an Ikon2 in a Gaui NX4 . The Gaui and Align GOV sensor need a J type plug installed to plug into the FBL unit itself . Even with two different sensors and two different FBL units I have failed to get a magnet detected indication. I’ve went as far has holding the sensor itself over a magnet. Any suggestions would be great .

I assume this is an iKON 2 standard size - not a mini or micro?

The Align sensor needs the red / black white leads swapped in the "J type" connector.
It does not hurt anything if they are not swapped (nothing burns out), but it is different from the pin-out of the micro-JST plug

I never used a Gaui sensor, but it I suspect it should work.

Also, the sensor will not pick up the magnetic field if you are waving the sensor over the S-side of a magnet.
The 2 magnets need to be installed with 1 N-side up and 1 S-side up.

Thanks for your reply. The magnets where pre installed so no chance for me to make the mistake . I’ve even held a set in my hand near the sensor . I’ve tried swapping the + - . No dice . I ordered another sensor to try again .Bladescrape
