I've been doing some servo repair and have come to need some of those very small/long screws that hold the servo case together. As I measure them, they are 1.13mm dia by 21mm long. I have looked through most of the usual fastener web sites with out any luck. The 1.13mm dia equates to about 0.045 inches which is half the diameter of a 0-80 US micro screw (also unobtainium). FWIW these are for Futaba S9257/S9650 servos.

Has anyone bought these kind of screws? If so, where?

The older I get, the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for.

Try calling McMaster Carr in Atlanta or go to their website. They have become my go to guys for hardware.

I'm pretty sure they are special screws made specifically for Futaba servos. It might be easier to buy some cheap Futaba servos off ebay for the screws.

60% of the time, it works every time!

McMaster/Carr was my second or third search. No joy there either. I am beginning to think that they are some sort of specialty item.

I think Richard may have the best idea. Go on eBay and runryder classifieds for old or non-working servos and cannabilize them. Oh eBay I have seen many servo parts for sale also.
Good luck with your search!

And I'm not so sure that it's safe to assume that ALL of the servo screws across ALL Futaba servos are the same.......

Been there, done that and old enough to know better.....

thanks for the clarification as you’re absolutely right.
