AMA RC Heli Rules
Looking in the 2017-18 rulebook, FBL is still not allowed (Section 4.4). I thought all you guys switched to FBL years ago, or was it just F3C that flipped?

We are flying with flybarless gyros in all AMA classes. We are also flying up to 12S batteries.

For the AMA classes, 2013 was the last year FBL was provisional.

Wow, OK. So, the rule book just hasn't been updated, aside from the applicable dates. My last Nats in 2011 I flew 12S, I knew that was updated, but yeah FBL was still provisional at that time. Dr. Ben was the only one flying Expert (ClassIII) in FBL at the 2011 Nats.
