Deadpool 2 - 9.5 / 10. Lost 0.5 because Stan Lee didn't make a cameo
Black Panther - 8.5 / 10. Gained 0.5 because Stan Lee made a cameo

I saw "Tremors, When Hell Freezes Over." a couple days ago. It was terrible, but for some reason i could not turn it off, untill about half an hour in when my attitude fliped 180 degrees. I shut it off. Pretty sure i would not watch the remainder of that crap even if i was being paid to. OK maybe if i was being paid enough.... that number would be north of 100$

I liked the original, but this one, hell no. My ranking = negative 9

If you’re not familiar with the comic books, you would say that. But true marvel fans have a different opinion. The core of the infinity gauntlet series of comics ran for nearly a year. I remember them in the 90s. And many characters have been changed, story lines changed etc.
If you read them you would pretty much have a good idea of what happens in the next installment.

A person should not have to read the comic books or see the previous 7 episodes of a series to enjoy a movie. Epic FAIL if that is necessary.

well if you read the last chapter of a book, then claim the book sucked cause you shouldnt have to read the first 15 in order to enjoy it... you got other problems...

However box office returns do not tend to side with your assessments that it sucked.

YOU simply failed enjoy it cause of your lack of any context and back story.

If you had no concept of war, empathy and sacrifice do you think you would enjoy such successful movies such as Hacksaw Ridge, Fury, Full Metal Jacket, Platoon, Patton? of course not.

Its the same with the Marvel movies... nearly all of them have been leading box office returns for over 10 years now, with DC movies not far behind... Why? cause the fans have connections with the Characters, and children are rediscovering them just as we read about them in the 80s, 90s... Superman Batman, Wonderwoman, Hulk, Wolverine, Thor, Thanos, Ironman and even Deadpool are all Superhero Icons of kids who read the comics, watched the cartoons, and dressed up like em for Halloween.

"In Harms Way" was also on today, a great old movie with the Duke, but I saw 2 mistakes (again)

a) Kirk Douglas's character ordered up a PBY, but he got a B-25,

b) one of the Jeeps the Duke rode in was not a 40s era Willys Jeep, it was a 60s era Mutt M151 produced by Ford with independent suspension,
side note, in the 40s there was such a high demand for the Willys Jeeps to be made Ford under licence from Willys also manufacture the Wills Jeep, I know a guy that has one,,, but the Jeep in this movie was the 60s era M151

Fantastic Four (2015) 1/10

It started off okay, and went down hill real fast.

Didn't like that 20th Century Fox, changed the back story of Johnny and Sue Storm.
The Thing was naked (weird)
And Doctor Doom looked like crap.

yeah we walked out of that one...

Remember Tank Girl (1995)... walked out of that one 15 minutes in, got our money back...

Batman & Robin (1997) was the worst of DC movies... kids with parents were leaving the theater bored.

Skyline (2010) got our money back for that one.

The Hurt Locker (2008) pissed me off... I dont recall any EOD unit going out in one vehicle EVER, movie was flawed beyond belief based on my personal experience.

The last movie I watched, was tonight on a DVD. Dr Strangelove with Peter Sellers, George C Scott, Slim Pickens, and James Earl Jones.
It is an old movie and combines satire with realism of the 60's cold war era.
For those of us who lived the 60's, it was somewhat scary that an accidental nuclear war could be started with the Cuban missile crisis and the assassination of or president John F Kennedy. It was released in 1964.
It was a great movie considering that CG (computer graphics) was not available. The B52 interior shots were great.
