Looks like a hassle to me

They could have given better access .
The other downside is now dirt will get on the main gear from the excess grease.

spending time, paying attention

I use Clenzoil. Reason being is I run it in all of my fully automatic machine guns and this is the best oil I’ve found.

Srimok, Goblin 770, Avant Aurora, Trex 700 Suzi Hans, 700 LE, 700 FBL, Trex 450 Dominator X2, HC500, and a crap ton of parts with no time to fly! :)

My heli was just apart and gears were there. I have just been ADVISED BY ALIGN There's a gen 2 upper frame that has a hole to make use of the gen 2 gear box where the holes line up. For us gen 1 guys we need to drill a hole or make do....

Lol. Ya the fully automatic Glocks get very very hot very fast. So working with local PD, and having a former “the company” employee work for us, we tested all sorts of lubes and went with Clenzoil. Then I brought some jars home for my helis.

They reccomend I think 5 flights. But I've flown over 10 and there's still a light film. Also I read on Facebook a guy was doing a test and didn't grease gears at all and did temp checks and everything was fine. I just grease every so often. The Gear Box is fine.
