Thanks Peter.. I need to order some.

When it comes to wood to wood joints I like good old Titebond II. (I am not much of a CA user)..

I have been experimenting with other construction adhesives (Loctite PL Line) and have had good results with that too. Some of them seem to work well with odd joints like fiberglass to wood (the urethane stuff). They also make PL375 adhesive that works VERY well on plywood's as well. I have used it as a bonding fillet in plywood joints. Both my Big BAUSA D7 and EIII use that extensively. I have also used it some on my old MD365 as well as my bell 212..

I have also found a few off the self tube glues that work well.. Welder Contact adhesive is one of those. I glued the dog house on the Bell 212 with it..

I asked the question in the thread about what else might work because I am always looking for adhesives now that epoxies are such a PITA for me to use..

I recommend 3m/Loctite hysol E-20HP it’s thicker than the other hysol stated, being that it doesn’t run makes it great for bulkheads and hard to reach places! cures much faster and is clear vs white and strength since it’s an aero grade epoxy like all the others. I buy mine from McMaster-Carr as well. I use this on all my jets buildshttps://www.youtube.com/channel/UCE_rywpdgBAxA8bHVCw3VQQ

I use white wood glue to glue the woodwork together. The bond is stronger than the wood. It is not good for bonding wood to fiberglass!!!

For years, this was always the glue of choice..

I know there have been many advances is adhesives, but how does Stabilit stack up against the newer stuff - what advantages does the new glues have??

Stabilit Express is still available from Henkle.
It’s enormously expensive when you can find it, but the biggest problem is that it’s never been advised for use with epoxy mouldings.
