I’ve flown a lot of Hirobo stuff over the years and never had any issues with their belts. I think it would do fine with proper tension maintained.

Keron, Your pump start voltage is too high, you need the smallest trickle of fuel over the hot plug to get it to ignight
Did you do a voltage/heat test(out of turbine) to make sure the voltage was correct to get the kero plug really hot?
Nothing more to say on this subject

Hitec quality control and higher than average failure rate make that a risky suggestion if you look at the field data.

If I may ask a question regarding the turbine designations. Please understand I have zero knowledge of turbines but have an interest in them.
What size is the new Wren 50 that was mentioned and/or what size heli would it fit inside of?
Thanks in advance!

As fas as I know, this turbine fits on a trex700 nitro and some assembly is required.

there was a guy on ebay from Poland selling the Garratt wheel which was used in MW54.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_..._odkw=+turbines

The actual part number if i remember was the 9" Wheel,
Garrat 446335-09 they did also use a 10" but had to trim it down..
that part no, was Garrat 446335-1 O

Are you sure about those dimensions? I do not remember any model turbine having anything close to that. Possibly cm's

There may be a communication lag across the pond. In the US the (" sign is used as a abbreviation for Inches. I see the size is an 09 which would be represented as #09 or #9 in the U.S.

Thank you for clearing this up for us because I wanted to see the turbine with a 9" (Inch) turbine or compressor wheel. I work on Industrial Turbomachinery so 30-40" impellors (Centrifugal & Axial) are not unusual for me.
