Fuel CY30% with 23% oil, Heli is on the rich side and its running great. Engine is not hot after flight. Question is on T/H engine comes down to idle and runs great but when I come off T/H the engine is to rich and it take about 10 to 15 seconds to run correct. So, how do I fix this problem? Is this a low end problem?

If it is hesitant to pick up from idle and almost dies it is the MID that is too rich. Try 3-4 clicks leaner on the MID.

To check if your idle needle is set right you can shut the fuel off while idling, the engine should idle for 3-5 seconds then the rpm should increase slightly for 2-3 seconds then die. Also if it's set too rich you will have quite a lot of throttle trim for it to run and idle will start fast and gradually get slower and even die, especially if it's cold. If it is too lean the idle rpm will increase as the engine warms up and may even pulse up and down. Also if the back plate is gradually cooling after a flight with the engine still running it's probably too rich and vise versa.
