You get what you pay for and some people are ok with spending less now and more later .
Harbor Freight makes a nice parallel box and has all you need .
Honda also has fuel pump so if you top off tank and add cap with valve you can run hose into gas can and run gen all night if needed . On colder night I will run 1000 for all but AC . With gen tank I would have to get up around midnight freeze my ass off to put gas in gen . Hooked to extra gas can gen runs all night and still plenty after mornin.

I stole it ,flew it and gave it back ;)

The EU2200i came in the other day and after adding the recommended 10w-30 (Honda) oil, 89 octane gas, pulling on the cord 3 times it came to life. Was vibrating quite a bit in Eco throttle mode the first time. I plugged in an electric leaf blower (7.5 amp draw) and cleaned around the house for a good hour or so with small breaks to vary the load and throttle on the Honda. The 7.5 amp load was perfect for break in as it would take the Honda above the Eco range but below full throttle.

Second time around I added just a squirt of STABIL 360 and was impressed with the noticeably smoother running in Eco as well as full throttle. I varied the load for another hour and now it’s running very smooth and good to go. So far I am happy with my choice.

Once broken in, full syn oil is the way to go.
I find the high quality equipment is built tight and takes some time to break in.

Generators
I started with a Yamaha 1000.

Then bought a Honda 2000.

Now using a Honda 1000.

I use to be a high demand power charger with two icharger 4010 duos.

Now I have cooled down my demands and enjoy the smaller lighter charging and generator.

I kept the 2000 honda for home backup. I also have paralelled the 2000 and 1000 for emergency use.

Enjoy things that money can buy IF you don't lose the things money can't buy.

in Actuality, engines are built with more precision now a days and do not require break-in, use full syn right away.

Never go Full Retard!
