For what its worth, Gaui R5 uses same belt.

http://www.gaui.com.tw/product/r5-p...0xl_5mm_for-r5/

Contact them for availibility

Alternatively, 10mm width are abundant from China and will be my go to source when and if mine breaks before heli does.

I will use a "balsa stripper" to cut in half.

Best of luck!

Yes and now the carby has dirt in I think, the old fuel line in the tank broke up from sitting for a year. The helicopter has done about 20mins flying time, poor maintenance from the owner!http://www.youtube.com/user/rcglo1?feature=mhee#p/a/u/0/tjylNcHuqX8

Hopefully it has an air filter, otherwise consider getting one. That velocity stack sits to low to ground and it sucks (literally)

Eeeeky must know exactly what he is doing with engine tuning. 32:1 is the most common ratio, this gives some added protection if running high RPM, you go a tad lean due to needle settings, an air leak develops or a muffler comes loose. A high quality full synthetic oil is the other key. Motorcycle shops are a good source.

Some carbs will clean up easily when disassembled, others won’t. There are some internal passages that are hard to clean if gunked up. Dave’s Discount Motors has lots of choices for air filters in the USA, eBay or RC car shops would be a place to look outside of the USA.
