But, it would be an awesome fail if it did burn a hole through the tank:
A spray of fuel through a pin-hole that ignites when it hits the hot pipe resulting a tumbling fireball that hits the ground in a mushroom cloud.
Kind of reminds me of the Castle Creations Ice when they would short out.
The literary imagery made me chuckle a little. Then again, it's not as funny when it's happening to you.

wifeorheli, how is a low rpm torque benefit in a helicopter? you need mid to top end power in a RC helicopter. Just buy a Powerboost pipe for that 105 and be done with it!

Never go Full Retard!

See those little drops of water inside your tank ??? They are screaming “get me the he’ll out of here, we’re burning up !!”

Been there, done that and old enough to know better.....

Zoom in on your pic.... water droplets are inside the tank due to the intense volcanic heat from having that pipe too close....

When you fly in the rain, make sure you use an umbrella and wear your rubbers.....on the outside

Been there, done that and old enough to know better.....

Dirtpen wow I think that's closer then mine. So far my tank appears to be fine I might pull tank and wrap pipe side with the aluminum foil then insert look alot cleaner. Bothers me $1700 heli with ghetto foil hah

That's what I'm using it's a foil tape from kragen auto. Seems to work onoy time will tell I'm gonna fly another gallon then pull the tank and see if it's distorted. I don't understand why the pipe is so close....
