Need more information. Is it on the ground or in the air? Head speed? How high does it jump?Bill Whittaker

sorry about the vague description. the heli is in the air, it is a gasser. head speed is fine. I have adjusted the #2 pod on the beast X. it didn't seem to help. I didn't know if one of the other adjustments would help. it just started for no reason.

... for no reason
Lol, there is always a reason. You just dont know what it is yet.

IMHO:
"Gasser" = "Vibration"
My bet is some new vibration has cropped up or an existing vibration has gotten worse.

Yo can either focus on isolating the gyro from the vibration or track down the vibrations and eliminate / reduce them.
I prefer to eliminate the vibrations

Vibration would show up as vague cyclic, cyclic drift or tail twitches. Straight up and down is something different. How much and how quickly is it jumping up and down? Is it rhythmic or random? Does it come and go with wind gusts?60% of the time, it works every time!

I'm gonna throw in a bad servo...
One that has a tight spot and jumps through that spot when enough force to do so, the FBL, keeping the heli level makes all 3 act the same while flying so they all jump and the heli jumps.

On the table, run the collective through its range of motion ( slowly ) and with your finger on each servo while it is moving, feel for a pause or notchiness.
