Obviously more money than brains.

Many years ago, as a 22 year old, I was given the opportunity to drive one of the original Ford GT's that was sold for street use so as to make them legal for racing. I got in, started the vehicle, goosed the motor a couple of times, then shut it off and got out. With no experience in that sort of car, I had no business driving it. While there are times I regret not driving it, it was probably one of the smarter decisions I made in my youth.
