This is the company that owns the rights to the JR Brand. They are working on their website so will have to deal with Ebay for now.

Here is what is going on. JR went bankrupt. Konishi Mokei of Japan AKA RC Depot bought the rights to the JR brand and all the intellectual property. They have been producing JR Heli parts for over a year. The parts are manufactured by the same factory as original JR branded parts. Dee Force Aviation was started by RC Depot to distribute the parts. They have a website but its not live yet so they put up an Ebay store front in the mean time.

The Forza 700 is one of the finest heli's I've ever had the pleasure to fly (as well as the NEX-E6). I hope these heli's continue to be around and wish the company success. The name is simply not becoming of the product. Does the company know their primary market? I'd say no given some of the radio color scheme's and the name. Just my opinion.

Notice of Discontinuation of JR Production
I would be leery of products produced for the JR line from Konishi Mokei.
There is a letter from JR Americas that does not have a lot good things to say about that company.

You may have already seen this. But if not, please read before dumping a bunch of money on those Dee Force parts. This is probably the real reason they don't have website up yet. It's dated 5 April, 2018. In short, JR Americas says their product is substandard and they refuses to stock their parts.

Dee Force Aviation does not produce sub standard parts. The heli parts are THE SAME EXACT PARTS as before since the same supplier in Malaysia is used. I speak from first hand experience as I have JR parts and DFA parts and they are the same. What happened with JR Americas and RCDEPOT/DFA was related to JR electronics, specifically JR receivers. There was a bad batch of them sent to JR Americas back in early 2017. This issue has been rectified a while back.

Fair enough. But if that is the case, then two things....first, why wasn't this detail more specifically addressed to electronics in the JR Americas letter to their customers? And secondly, if it was corrected in 2017, why is this letter dated April 2018? This would seem misleading to say the least.

Unfortunately that is info I simply don't have. All I know is what has been posted on various forums, websites and facebook. I am in no way affiliated with any of the parties involved. Draw your own conclusions. What I think may have happened (speculation on my part) is that JR Americas and RC Depot could not come to an agreement regarding distribution and also QC issues with the initial batch of product from RC Depot.

That's probably more than likely. I will say I rarely see a company put another company on blast so publicly like that. It seems petty and kind of irresponsible from a business perspective.

I own a Forza 700 and I was ready to get the Forza 550 upon release, but I have been a bit jaded since finding out the JRPROPO is belly up. And the main reason is parts. So, if the Dee Force stuff is any good then I would be willing to get them a try just to keep my flag ship flying.

In their letter, JR Americas eluded to having another company in the pipeline to either take over manufacturing JR parts to their strict specs or start manufacturing JR similar parts and aircraft under a new name. I hope this is true. I would still love to get my hands on that Forza 550 or something similar to it in the near future.

The sticking point is that RC Depot purchased the JR Propo IP, therefore they own the rights to all of JR's stuff so if JR Americas, which is only a distributor of said stuff in USA, tries to find an alternative supplier they would have to make their own "compatible" products. They cannot use any JR IP as it is. Maybe they have some way of getting around this. Since JR Propo no longer exists as a company all the contracts are null and void, I think. This is where it starts getting murky as I am no lawyer and don't know contracts that well. I'm sure there will be lawsuits of some sort down the line. What I did not like was JR Americas posting that statement. I think it was a bit too much on their part. It could have been phrased differently. Anyway, time will tell how this shakes out. I'm just glad I have parts again.
