I have a raptor E550 that needs some new bearings. I am having a lot of difficulty finding a 7mm X 13mm X 5mm bearing. Does anyone know a good source for this?

if it doesn't fit, make it fit.

I have some. Probably enough to do two grips. Let me know if you'd like them.

graupner is out of stock. I'm looking for a bearing that is 5mm wide, not 4mm.

if it doesn't fit, make it fit.

How about using some 8x13x1mm thick shims to use with the 7x13x4mm bearings if you can't find the 5mm wide bearings? I think the actual ball bearing used inside the radial bearing would be the same in both the 4mm and 5mm wide bearings.

not sure if that would stabilize the spindle adequately. Has anyone tried that? If so, what were the results?

if it doesn't fit, make it fit.

This is the message I received from active power sports:

" Thunder Tiger is no longer stocked and will take at least 8 weeks to come in."

Also, in my experience with active power sports, if the item is not in stock, after waiting several months they will determine that they are not able to obtain it, so if active power sports does not have the item in stock, I look elsewhere.

if it doesn't fit, make it fit.

Yes, RCBearings is still out there, but a 5mm thick bearing seems to be the issue. Boca doesn't list that bearing, either. 5mm seems to be an odd part.

Is it for that TT flybarless head?

Wait a minute, I have an old X50 that was never assembled, let me check my stash!

Sorry, nothing in my stash of new bearings!

Check roller skating.....
Or Roller blading supplies. They run 7 mm bearing that have a variety of widths and OD's.

Holy crap , Australia ?? I guess it’s better than nothing if you can’t get them elsewhere...

How would you go about checking to see if they are “really” in stock ??

Been there, done that and old enough to know better.....

From Rcbearing:

7x13x5 is not a standard bearing. The closest one to that is an MR137ZZ which is 7x13x4mm

if it doesn't fit, make it fit.
