I am planning on getting the Vario Huey fuselage #1100 but I am worried about the front of the T-rex 700 gasser mechanics being to long for the front dog house. That's really is my only concern Just wanted to see if anyone has built one who may have any input or advise.

The 1100 fuselage kit is for skyfox glow or electric only. Its the smallest Huey fuse Vario makes. The trex or Vario gasser mech do not fit in this fuse. You need the larger gas size fuses to think about using these mechanics.

Hey Mayron1,
I was able to place a 600 gasser in the #1100 fuse. It’s a tight fit that took about a year for me to complete but was well worth the effort.

Yeah I'm not sure I have the skill to build a Vario fuse, I will just leave the gasser as pod and boom. I may just wait and get a RCA huey or another RCA Cobra

This is why i always suggest using all the parts which were made for the fuse such as Vario mechanics, as you will not have to reinvent anything and have a real good chance of being successful on your fuselage build. Just because you have a set of mechanics you want to try to put in there, does not mean its the best thing to do.

I Think the height is the issue, If I knew it would sit low in the fuselage I would get it, because it can be raised but not lowered.

That is the problem. The huey fuses offer the least amount of headroom of any fuselage, and the top of the mechanics can easily go through the top if too high. The jet ranger is next in line for this problem.

I have built this fuse and can tell you that Rex600 electric mechs won't fit. IMHO, the front servo location on your mechs will most likely interfere with the front of the doghouse.

All helis and planes have an expiration date stamped on them...you only find it after you crash!!
