From you LOL.. But the price was too good for me not to buy it...But I bet quite a lot of later T-Rex parts will fit like the tail drive unit, boom, head, frame ect, in the event of a crash...

I sure will, or maybe I'll keep it as a shelf queen (Though I never did like CCPM anyway), and I'll fit these parts to it too, (It's a rare T-Rex 450 none CCPM)...

Darn too many heli's to get flying ready.....

That is the very first Align 450 size heli swash control system where they copied the Thunder Tiger cyclic controls to a much smaller heli. Not on the proper frame, however I don't think I would risk damaging it if it is original Align.

Hi.. Thanks for the information, I think that it might be a original Align (The seller told me that it once had a plastic frame, and a plastic swash plate too, and was upgraded to a carbon fiber one and a metal swash plate also)..
Oh, did you notice that it says TREX on the top side plates..

If memory serves me right, the first Trex was a 450X with gray plastic frame and cyclic controls they called HDE. The next version was the 450XL and had black plastic frames and came in both HDE or CCPM control versions.

It is the HDE cyclic control. I looked closer at the pictures, if memory serves me correctly the original 450X was gray plastic, the HDE system on the heli in the pictures above looks like an aftermarket upgrade and not the original gray plastic. Someone correct me if this is wrong. This model is still a pretty cool part of heli history.

WOW that was a expensive upgrade ($289.95).. Though the head on my T-Rex is not the same colour than the one shown..Plus the main gear too..Also my model is the X version, so what I'll do is replace the flybar, as it has a bit of rust on it and change the paddles to carbon fiber (White with a black stripe) install the radio, and leave the rest alone. What would you do guys to this model (If it was yours)...

This was during the time period that a flybar Trex 450SE costed $400+ with just a motor & ESC. No servos or gyro.

I'm glad you realize I am joking !! But, you DID ask for it !!

The problem with obsolete stuff like that is that you'll most likely have a hard time finding repair parts for it.....
