Is it okay to run a slightly bigger muffler on OS 37?
Well ,hate to bore you guys in asking an old school question ,especially in electric era , but I have new .46 ARK muffler with rubber cap which I want to use with an OS37 in a Raptor 30.I'm really just seeking some answer if this will be compatible or not, not really concerned about mount hole sizes ,etc. Thanks in advance.

That's an odd question.
Is it okay? I don't think anyone will care.

The real question should be "Will the power be better, worse or the same as a tuned pipe / tuned muffler".
That, I don't know.

I suspect it will be a little bit louder and less power than a tuned pipe / muffler designed for an OS 37.

You seem to think it will be.

Give it a try, I foresee a lack of back pressure and not to sure if it will provide enough pressure for the fuel tank. It may cause the engine to run leaner.

Check the engine temperature often.

I did it. Used an old 60 sized Hatori 666. Worked great but I had to sleeve the exhaust opening a bit to get enough back pressure for proper needling. Made great power once I did that. Nice and quiet too.

That ARK 46 muffler will work fine with your OS37. The only problem you will have to work around is relocating one of the mounting bolt holes inward as the spacing is different on the OS37 then on the OS46Phil

The 46 pipes had less volume than the the pipes or mufflers for the 37's of today, I doubt you would have a problem using it as long as it mount right.

OS37 with TT50 pipe
I run these combo, had to bore out the holes to match the OS37 port. It runs mean and fast. I think better than a 30 tuned pipe. No power on bottom end but mid and upper just sings.
