I have completed the drawings for a new Skid Set I am fabricating.. I'll produce some build pic as I go along this time.

This Bell 412 gives an idea of the final skid set.

This scale is 1/8, but the last couple of skids I did were 1/4 for a Jetranger...

Scorpion..

I build each of these to scale for the machine they need to fit. The ones above are for 1/8 scale.. The Vario is closer to 1/7 I believe. I can't quote you a price here as it depends on the level of Scale detail you need me to include.. I'll PM you over the weekend to find out what you are looking for.

A little more progress after quite a bit of work.

I have redrawn the whole Skid Set to incorporate my new step mounts.

A prototype of the step mount.

and a set of part completed steps. The flat step platform still needs to go on!!

With one thing and another, progress up to now has been painfully slow but I should start to make more progress now hopefully

Just a bit more work on the Tube Joiners, Step mounts and step..

Next I will bond the Tube Joiners in place and get on with the Front Step detail.

The final 'mod' on the Cross tubes and the Skid set is nearly ready for paint.

I have to finish the tops for the steps and attach to the mounts.. A job for tomorrow :-)

Thanks Steve.. I'd like to be able to replicate some of what you do !!! (I was kicking myself as I couldn't get the 4 screws in each side of the step clamp like on the full size!!)

The bracket that holds the step (with the 4 bolts), did you mill that from a solid piece or how did you do that, if you don't mind me asking?
