The average manufacturing wage is now 3.60$ an hour. Seems crazy dirt cheap to me, but companies are begining to automate and move elsewhere for lower cost labor.

lower cost labor? well what do us americans expect... the range of most items purchased at walmart and any number of dollar stores are from $5 to $15... and over 90% of what they sell is made overseas.

and what do we want? even cheaper goods...

showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...
