I am looking to buy a used Bergen Intrepid Gas heli, preferably an EB version.
Even better if the heli does not have engine or electronics, basically looking for bare heli, but will also consider if its in ready to fly condition. But the Q is where do i find one?
I am paypal ready.

Regards,
Adarsh

Awesome. Bergen's business is doing well and they have parts available. They're just an email message or phone call, away.

Dealt with Bergens from 2005-2008 with UAV's...what disappointment from torque tube couplings and bearings to simple washout arms. It was a disaster..not surprising to see them become so small on this site and RC Helicopters, Drones .

FYI : They didn't go away from the rc side of the hobby because of problems ! Chris choose to devote all his time and resources to the side of the business that was bringing in the most money and that was the commercial side,, building and selling to police , colleges and airial photo places, "commercial businesses" His birds and UAVs are still being produced and selling strong as ever

Not surprising with your comment seeing your signature. Bergens are so overrated. They might look good (except canopies) but the materials and design in my opinion are garbage. I dealt with over 40 sir!!

Still doesn't change the facts and that is they are still a very viable company ,, even though you could not obviously build one right and get it to stay flying , ya set up with wrong tension on
bearings and other wrong moves and yes you could have problems that the mass produced plastic birds don't see ,, any idiot can get them to fly

PLEASE tell Chris to stop using G10 frames!! Lol. He can upgrade to Carbon Fiber for the $15,000 he charges for a turbine heli with a 2 axis non-stabilzed front camera mount. What a joke!!!!

I apologize for saying for 40 because as I came in on the end of extensive testing and use over (2 years) and not sure the exact number. There were many and with MANY issues, Chris. We finally gave up on Bergen's because we could not trust them. Rant over.

amazing how a troll apologizes and shuts up when the company owner comes on the forum
You talk about only a 2 axis camera gimbal .... how many yrs ago has this been that you worked on these 40 or "so" birds ?? How long have you been holding in this grudge ?

You talk about putting carbon fiber on the turbine ----- what other turbine helicopter that is manufactured by a commercial company comes with carbon side frames . Right ------ Bergen / Vario and Jetcat are the only Turbine helicopter manufactures that I can think of right now off the top of my head that even make mechanics for a turbine helicopter . The rest of the helicopter manufactures / Trex , MA , Raptor and such ,,, you will have to modify an existing airframe and make the parts to do that on your own or get them from a 3 rd party individual ! I'm also not sure if any of the other 2 manufactures use carbon for side frames ... might be that Jetcat has carbon . But why carbon ??,,as it tends to block radio signals and require a lot of extra satellites to be used in just the right placements . G- 10 does not and it works just as good ,,, maybe better than carbon fiber if your not flipping and flopping around like a fish out of water .

I'm curious because I don't remember selling 40 of anything to ONE entity, and I'm sure I would remember that!

Have we discussed the problems, via phone or email? Was I made aware of them? Since I don't know who you are, I cannot respond to your claims.
