if it has paddles but isn't a boat then it might be an old heli

No, it isn’t vintage yet. There are more older ones like this. I still love it and fly it. I only have a few that converted to FBL. But I trained my son to fly the T-Rex 600E with flybar first and he liked it.

Absolutely there's nothing wrong with it. As my preference during windy days somewhat like 15-25mph wind I prefer flying my T-Rex 700N with flybar coz I can have a full control from the ground during take off or not in a hurry to take off and scared with being blown by wind while still on the ground. As with my T-Rex 700DFC during windy days the main blades hit the ground several times if blown by the wind before take off. I'm still keeping my 2 T-Rex 600N with flybar and 1 T-Rex 600E with flybar and no plans of converting those to FBL. Vintage or not, I still have those

Depends on your event horizon. Having done this for 30+ years I would say it is a highly refined modern helicopter having been developed and perfected in the last few years. If you've only been doing this for 10 years it is yesterday's POS that's been superseded by improved models and components.

The answer to your question is tied to your perspective.

"Well, Nothing bad can happen now."

On a car 20 is classic and 30yrs antique. I just hovered around with my old one yesterday. I won't beat on it like I used to. Vintage maybe that when no more parts at all are available. Just wondering if a fbl gyro like beast x which is separate from the Rx could you use just the rudder channel to fly a fb heli.

It's a long way from being vintage - when it gets to 42 yrs old and still flying like this one, then it is vintage

Ps...This one can also lose the flybar and fly very nicely without any stabilization, as Peter Christy has already demonstrated with his.

I'm only here coz I'm not all there !!
