I was there. It was cold but I enjoyed watching all the great pilots fly. It sent me home with motivation to dig in a little harder to improve.

It was cold but it didn't stop the flying. There were queues for most of the flight stations throughout the event.

is cold to a So. Cal. person
It's all relative. I spent my first 57 years in So Cal. I use to run five miles in 100+ degrees. Now in Ann Arbor MI I jog in 15 degree weather. 50 degrees is the sweet spot if you ask me.
