Where the Reps and Trump are falling down is, they have the leverage at times like this. Want DACA??? OK, but we get the wall. Want to raise the age to buy an AR to 21??? OK, then we raise the voting age to 21 (what's frightening about this is that the liberals are now talking about making the voting age 16... imagine??). We've got them in a trap. Because honestly, the left doesn't want either of the above. If they win on those items, they've lost most of their policy platform. But they almost have to cave, otherwise they'll be seen as the obstructionists that they are. With a little bit of closed door strategy with REAL conservatives, Trump could really make some hay right now. If he doesn't, he's a one termer.

also, yeah, let's ban AR's. That just drives values thru the roof. Then their street value goes up and people start selling willy nilly to any guy off the street, so we end up with those AR's being in the hands of god knows who instead of the hands of law abiding people that pass BG checks. Not to mention, when street values go up, the Cartels will probably find it worth their while to smuggle guns in along with their drugs. Great ideal liberals...

thats no lie either... my uncle had two AR 15s in the late 80s bought them for $150 each... then the ban was enacted in the mid 90s... and he sold them for $1800 each... Imagine the arms dealer that had them stocked up...

Problem: Kids shooting kids in the school house.
Solution: Don't allow kids to go to school and stock school with guns.

Think about it, it is a reasonable solution.

...in a way youre not wrong...

given todays proliferation of internet access and technology... going to a physical school location is in a way obsolete...

but parents have essentially turned schools into babysitters and not places of education and enlightenment.

Teenagers need to own part of the problem. Any web threat needs to be met with punishment. 1-week county jail. When reports are made, the adults need to act on them. 72hr hold. Adults need to have control of weapons. Trigger locks, whatever it takes.

Id find a way to get the parents punished by a fine should jr be acting out online...

then use the money raised to fund mental issue programs...

that way the parents are forced to take responsibility for their kids upbringing and make them more vigilant of what jr is doing online and in his room... other than masturbating...

seems parenting is ever more a source of issues with teens...

at reading that^ I just had a chuckle that was not at all funny, I was remembering the show Start Trek, whereby they went to a planet were every one was carrying a gun of some kind, even the mother walking down the street with a baby had a WW2 German automatic,, not a nice thing to think

an AR style rifle means what?
Black, scary looking, with silencers, big clips and a handle on the top!
Clip? No such part on an AR . . . Did you perhaps mean 'magazine'?

Friends don't let friends become electrotarded . . . .
