In a Kaman_hh_43 type side by side rotor, could the blades be 1 drag bolt-lead-lag type ok, or is a fixed blade to grip required?
Stupid question but WHAT ABOUT IN A 3 BLADE per rotor system?

If syncing be enough or will I have to prevent the blades from lead-lagging and hitting each other?

thanks for you help

I don't see any reason why a single bolt would not work. Having said this IF.. a lead/lag locking blade grip is used no harm done.

Thanks Grim, but a set of damaged blades that ran (lead-lagged) into each other may be pointing to the locked blade-grip assy as a must.
I am trying to see if anyone here had 1st hand experience with a Kaman HH-43 type rotor.
