That's when I call in the lawyers. It's people like you that forget who the cops are working for.

It is people like you who forget it usually takes two to escalate a situation too far.

You always have a choice. Escalate, or de-escalate. Always choose wisely, especially if there are guns involved. Not rocket science.

Whenever there is a video of someone giving a cop a hard time, and then getting his a$$ kicked, you can go ahead and call your Lawyer, but i will get some popcorn and watch it a few times.

When that cop stopped me at the gas station, it was not me that did the escalating.

But you choose to ignore that.

Ok so step one, you chose to stop. Good start.
Step two, maybe he was rude?
What did you choose next?

You keep making bad assumptions.

I had already stopped, been out of my vehicle, in the store, back out and reaching for my door when the cop blasts up behind me in the parking lot.

He was off base . . . period.

AirWolfRC Geee, I guess I've had the wrong idea all along . . .
I thought the purpose was to keep the peace . . .
. . . not use every lame excuse that comes along to kill someone . . .
. . . knowing that the prosecutor will do everything he can to rubber stamp your actions. (unless there's waaay too much bad publicity)
Your statements are idiotic and immature. if cops wanted to kill people there would be a lot more dead folks possibly you for running your mouth. So if these cops are such megalomaniac killers as you say ha ha but obviously don't believe... for if you did you would STFU or risk being killed.

You said he stopped you, then accuse me of assuming that he stopped you, and of course the truth is he did stop you.. and as usual you completely missed the point. Again.

So he stopped you, but he didn't have the courtesy to sound the siren? I love the siren too. Completely understand. Hehehe.

And you made a choice. It was A: you stood there? Or B) You ran like the morons we see on TV who end up with road rash and bruises from being tackled?

Then what did you chose? ( Question Mark )

As I said before, he tried to say i was drunk. More exactly, he said "if you get in the vehicle I'm going to give me a ticket for DUI". And he was all wound up and excited the whole time. Realize that I had been there about 5 minutes before he even showed up.

Also, later when I wanted a copy of the dash cam video, the department refused.

AirWolfRC Yet another example of trigger happy dumb a$$ cop.
It makes one wonder how deep the hate must run to induce someone to continuously emphasize a single possible police misconduct per however many thousands or so of appropriate, helpful, and life/property saving police "protect and serve" actions. Posted examples are one sided and therefore misconduct is never proven. When real trouble happens, I'll bet the first phone call will be to John Law.
The older I get, the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for.

by just watch YouTube videos about road rage alone, you will see there are a lot of selfish people out there that are just waiting to do wrong and the police know it and are trained to expect it, well, once and a while the cops get it wrong

Thousands of traffic stops each day, thousands of police/citizen interactions each day... and few youtube videos. Yeah police make mistakes, but they are not doing a bad job in my book.

Hate ? ? that's a convenient (and ignorant) response.

I agree there are far more good cops than bad cops.
But how does that possibly excuse the bad cops ? ? ?

If it were your dinner order that got messed up, that would be one thing.
BUT when a cop screws up, the consequences are much more severe and therefore those actions need to be dealt with much more severely.

You "accommodaters" will be singing another tune after it happens to you.

I have learned how to deal with law enforcement. I have had brushes that could have turned bad, but by showing respect and following directions, I have never been treated badly. I think that it is YOUR problem.

Clearly you completely misunderstand.
What confluence of information causes you to say I have a problem with law enforcement ?
I don't have a problem with law enforcement.
I have a problem with people that fail to do their job in a responsible manner . . . whatever that job happens to be.
And the more people act like irresponsible idiots in a consequential job, the more agitated I get.
And that includes people that seem to be more than happy to go along with cops screwing up simply because there aren't that many of them.
