San Francisco cops fire 65 shots in 15 seconds at murder suspect
And not a single round hit anyone . . . not even the suspect.
. . . That's what i call incompetent.

its estimated that we fired 50,000 rounds per enemy killed in Vietnam...

so far we have fired appx 250,000 rounds for every enemy killed in Iraq and Afghanistan...

our military being incompetent too?

showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...

You sure try awful hard to contradict most everything I say. Is it that you just like to be contrary ?

A combat zone is not filled with friendlies all around the area not under control. Supressive fire is a lot easier to keep under control.

Your argument is empty.

so I have to ask, "why don't you blame the Nut Job for his part in this" ??

and if the guy didn't shoot first the police most likely would not have shot at all

obviously never had to serve in a combat zone huh...

What I was getting at is so what that they fired 60 plus round and didnt hit him... maybe it was suppression, maybe they were sacred and couldnt hold a steady aim...

but you automatically called them incompetent... since you have never served in such a role... who are you to judge?

Too bad we can't clone Wyatt Earp. I saw him shut down 5 bad guys with just two shots fired from the hip with an old 6 shooter. It was pretty cool. Bad guy pulls his 6 shooter, and pew! Wyatt shoots it out of his hand in a millisecond! He's a cool cat.

The kids definitely stay off John Wick's grass.

If they even breathed on his grass they know he would come flying off the roof with a double flip, guns a blazing in both hands and they would end up with 6 shots each in the forehead, making a perfect pattern of a sad face. Then he would land like a mountain lion, slowly lift his head up looking at their newly dead quivering bodies and say. "Stay off my grass." .

Wick for Sheriff 2018.

He has never had a gun fight or even been close.

Even as kids having bb gun fights, you fling more BB's then ever hit the target.

I know a number of enforcement personel and from what I've seen, I'll go with that comment. . . and I won't get into the egos and arrogance.

And if you think I'm against all enforcement personel, then you're not keeping your short sighted bias under control.

Just because I don't lavish praise on the good ones doesn't mean I think all of them are bad . . . I try to consider them adults and not require a gold star on their forhead every time they do a good job.

either do we.

we just recognize they are an evil need. these are the mop up boys, nothing less, but when crap hits the fan, most people call them first.

Something somewhat similar happened here 20 or 30 years ago. A guy decided to rob a doughnut shop. (Doh! hahaha! ) A couple plain clothes cops were there. (shocker!) A bunch of bullets flew. I think they all ran out of bullets and the cops tackled the guy.

The city bought a new cash register, windows, display cases for the doughnut shop, and a new gas pump for the station across the street.

I looked up average hit percentages. In New york hit rates were 34% for LA over 40% Better trained? How experienced can they be in Sanfran? There isn't even one gun shop in San Fransisco anymore. (yes, really).

Mayberry Sherif only gave Deputy Barney one bullet a couple times in his whole career, how good can he get?

Maybe San Fran = Dingleberry?

Anyway if i cant see my target, and have sh!t in my pants, i am not sure i would do much better, even though i am well practiced and a half decent shot in a range environment.

in Vermont some 30 years ago, maybe 35 ??,, there was a white man holding a knife outside, in front of a store's locked door, as I remember the cops chased him there,, well the guy would not give up the knife,, after a few hours of waiting the cops, "with" orders, shot the man dead as he stood there, the guy did NOT walk or lunge towards the cops, they didn't use dogs or tazers back then,

no crying, no complaints, no protesting, no law suites, no Internet

Another example of a bad apple and the cover up that comes from the organization he works for.

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2018/03/0...e-in-hours.html

If cops were held accountable as the rest of the population then this kind of thing would happen a LOT less often.
