Can you please put me in the picture when setting up the BD 3sx?
I have set up a compass Pod and Boom to test before fitting into a large scale Vario.
From the start I found it easy to set up using the wizard.
On the mixer page I had the collective travel and the Aileron/Elevator set at + - 9 Degrees with centre stick at 0 Now is when the problem starts.
To get 5 degrees at centre stick I used the Collective offset set to 80 gave me the 5 degrees Centre 13 top and 3 bottom Basically scale setting.
However when I checked the Elevator and aileron I had +6 minus 12.
So my understanding is that the Collective offset did not effect the other settings. Whats wrong?? Cheers Colin

I suggest for scale models thay you mechanically set hover pitch using the rods from the swash to the grips and / or the servos to the swash, when the servo arms are at the mid position (square to the rods) and mid stick. Same as when they were at “0” for the pod and boom. Put the collective offset back to zero, and you should be all set.
