We are having the same temps here in southeast Alabama. I fly almost daily at 0600 to about 0800 and again around 0700 til around dark. The temps are usually nice and cool around those times.

Gang.. we have had a lot of fun jack jawing on here and all.. And I want to say.. IT AINT OVER!..LOL

Just the same here is a pic of my Bell 212. Its ready to fly but is missing a few small details. They will be added soon. If it flys well.. OK.. if not it will get static'ed and then.. at the NATS seek some help tuning it.. (flybarless systems are just not my cup of tea).. never the less thanks to all for the encouragement.

Grim

LETS FLY THE NATS!

Set the gain to zero (for both head and tail) and set the pitch to "ludicrous pitch". Should be perfect for scale flying.

It is not easy to just take a benzin head and make it flybarless. The ball end bolts on your blade grips are wrong to start with. Many things make the flybarless system work.

I'm not sure I understand, why make it flybarless when the fullsize 212 has a flybar?

Let me know when you plan on arriving, I'd be happy to come up and provide as much assistance as my little brain can offer (I live only 45 minutes from the AMA field).

I ask again why a flybarless head? A flybar even with paddles instead of bobweights would look better than a totally flybarless head on that model in my opinion.
