Hello Boys and Girls,

It’s that magical time of year when we all start dreaming about competing in the Scale NATs.

This year’s dates are July 30 through August 2

We will again have 3 classes this year. The standard 518 along with the 2 provisional classes, Sport Scale and Team Scale. The rules for all 3 classes are now on the AMA webpage.
https://www.modelaircraft.org/files...rs2017-2018.pdf

Pilots meeting will be 6:00pm on Sunday July 29 at the event location
Static judging will take place 9:00am on Monday July 30 followed by the first flight round taking place Monday afternoon at 1:00pm. The second and third flight rounds will take place Tuesday at 9am and at 1pm. If needed, there will be a fourth flight round at 9:00am on Wednesday.

One of the changes for this year is a second flight line will be used to alleviate the time crunch we had last year. And the 2 provisional classes (Sport and Team) should be on this year’s entry form.

Hope to see everyone there along with a lot of new faces. We had 15 machines last year and I'm hoping to beat that number!!!!!!
If anybody has any questions please post them here, pm me, or you can email me direct at mallen@iup.edu
Thanks!
Mark Allen

SAH-WEET!!!

Looking forward to my first Nats! I have already secured the dates and barring any company, personal, family or medical related incidents/emergency's, I am there Dude!

Please have my environmentally controlled tent ready. You may forego the red carpet, but I will still require a fruit and cheese plate everyday precisely at 11:30am.

Thanks!

Steve

Just registered and paid my entry fee via the new AMA Online registration.

Easy peezy.

Looking forward to hanging with my Homies and making some new friends.

For my first NATs, my only goal is to make Mark's life as CD as miserable as possible.

No sir. She may be nice to look at, but she is no where near a competition level machine.

Gonna compete in Sport Scale with the Vario BO-105 I acquired at IRCHA 2016.

Do you know someone that has a scale machine that you can fly...if so, you can enter in the "Team Scale" category.
